Four months later...
Wow, I can't believe it's been that long. I have a lot of catchin'-y'all-up to do. If pictures say as much as they're said to, then I'll get more bang for my buck with more photos and less text. Here goes.
Here's Edison celebrating birthday #3 in August, with triangle cakes in his honor.
That day, Jasper developed a daily goal: Find & try to eat Edison's leftovers.
A budding pastry connoisseur, he made -- and ate -- his first mud pies this summer.
He also went through a cute clingy phase. Or maybe he was just teething.
While Jasper went exploring and mess-making, Edison preferred lounging and watching PBS.
However, he managed to muster up an adventurous spirit for the Alaska State Fair, cooing and giggling over those warm, fuzzy goat lips. Awww...
OK, Edison's not a total couch potato. He & Jasper both love turning people into jungle gyms.
That last one was from Gramma & Grandpa's visit in September. We had lots of fun!
This was a pretty typical scene: Everyone worn out except Jasper the Energizer Bunny. Wahoo!
Edison built his first snowman a few weeks ago (with a little help from Daddy).
Then they sampled some of this season's first snowflakes.
Brotherly-lovin' scenes like these are happily becoming more and more common.
Seriously, these weren't posed. If I had asked them to do this, they would have run in opposite directions.
Whew! Time for a nap.
