Cat ain't got this boy's tongue! We know right where it is. Edison is growing fast! At 3.3 years, our little scientist performs daily tests of language and physics... and the limits of his parents' patience.

Garrett is close to getting his architecture license -- just seven tests to take. His firm, McCool Carlson Green, has won multiple awards for their schools and other public buildings. He's also hard at work building an outdoor installation (outstallation?) designed by a pair of Icelandic artists for an exhibit coming up in Anchorage, called FREEZE.

Jasper has all the charm, energy, and curiosity of a proper 18-month-old. Most of his mini-tantrums melt away with a little snuggling and snacking. His vocabulary is exploding with both accurate and made-up versions of words and onomatopoeia.

Sarah enjoys her work as an ESL tutor for an elementary school, but her loving, fun family and her weekly yoga class keep her going. While slowly getting more accustomed to life in Alaska, she is excited about several trips Outside in 2009: spring break in Austin, Burtner/Wright reunion in Bermuda, and possibly Christmas back home in Missouri.
